Day 1: Arrive in Siem Reap and Visit Angkor Wat

Welcome to Siem Reap! The charming gateway town to the temples of Angkor complex.
Your guide will meet you at the arrival hall of the airport, please look out for Asia Travel Needs welcome sign. You will be transferred to your hotel. For the remainder of the day, visit the Royal Bathing Pool of Srah Srang, the next-door Buddhist temple of Banteay Kdei, the incredible jungle temple of Ta Prohm and the steep-stepped pyramid Ta Keo. Later, board a handcrafted wooden boat for a romantic cruise on the moat surrounding the walled city of Angkor Thom and view the sunset. Return to the hotel for refreshing. This evening, enjoy a fascinating and inspiring performance of Phare Cambodian Circus. Established as vocational training for refugees, Phare today combines theatre, dance, music, and classical circus acts to tell uniquely Cambodian stories.. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 2: DISCOVER TEMPLES OF ANGKOR - TONLE SAP LAKE

Today, you’ll have a full day exploring the most famous temple complex in the vast UNESCO World Heritage site Angkor Archaeological Park which is located north of Siem Reap. Start at pre-dawn to catch the spectacular sunrise at one of the greatest man-made wonders and the largest religious monument in the world, Angkor Wat. Post-sunrise is the best time to explore the central complex and surrounding intricate bas-reliefs, as it's extremely quiet. Return to the hotel for a late breakfast.
After that, head out to the ancient city of Angkor Thom, surrounded by huge walls, and enter the city through impressive entry gates carved with four giant stone faces. From there, visit the enigmatic faces of Bayon situates in the exact center. Angkor Thom holds many must-visit monuments including the temple of Baphoun, the royal enclosure with Phimean Akas inside, the Terrace of Elephants, the Terrace of Leper Kings..etc.

After lunch break, visit Artisans Angkor, a Cambodian social business creating job opportunities for young people in rural areas while reviving traditional Khmer craftsmanship. Next, travel out to a dock and board a local wooden boat to explore one of the floating villages on the Great Tonle Sap Lake, the largest lake in South East Asia. Absolutely everything here floats, including pig and fish farms, shops, a church and plenty of colorful homes. Return to the hotel for refreshing. This evening enjoys dinner with the performance of traditional Apsara Dance.

Day 3: DISCOVER TEMPLES OF ANGKOR & DEPARTURE

Transfer by private vehicle to Pre Rup temple. Continue to the most incredible Banteay Srey, also known as the Pink Temple. Along the road, you will see the local markets, schools, villages, traditional houses on stilt and Buddhist temples. Head back to Banteay Samre and the Grand circuit tour including East Mebon, Neak Pean, an island temple with five square ponds set right middle of the artificial reservoir. The morning tour ends at the large Buddhist temple of Preah Khan, and take a lunch break at local restaurant. Return to the hotel and enjoy some final leisure time before the short transfer to Siem Reap airport for your onward journey. Safe travels!
